After discussing the action plan with my site supervisor, he told me to make 3 changes or revisions to my action plan.
1. He said that my action plan was to much, that I tried to implement to many steps into solving our bullying problem at my school. So I went back and made sure that the action steps that I had were changed so that they are now more concise and realistic. I made sure that the correct practices and procedures are in place to make sure that the program is implemented effectively.
2. He said to make sure that I have the resources necessary to make sure that this plan is able to succeed throughout the school year. I asked him professional opinion on what resources were missing or that I need to include.
3. The last revision he recommended is to make sure that I have monthly evaluations on the effectiveness of the program. That I must keep the data from these evaluations to see if the program is having a positive effect on the school climate. This way, with this data, I can show the stakeholders of the school community the positive changes of the anti-bullying program. With the positive news, the program can get more support from the community and the parents of the students. This will only make the program more effective and efficient.
